About Us

At The Shooting Stars Foundation, our mission is to empower communities to break the cycle of generational poverty through STEM education.

We envision a future where all young people have equal access to the STEM knowledge and skills needed to achieve academic success, career success, upward mobility, and a lifetime of economic self-sufficiency for themselves, their families, and their communities.

What is Starhacks?

Starhacks is an important piece of our mission and aspirations as we are able to reach and teach hundreds of students around the world with each hackathon, bringing us one step closer to the future we envision!

Role of SSF

StarHacks Hackathons are owned and operated by The Shooting Stars Foundation, a US 501(c)(3) organization
